FLYSEC at EAB-RPC

The European Association for Biometrics (EAB) Research Projects Conference (RPC) took place from the 24^th-25^th of September in Darmstadt, Germany for the fifth consecutive year. 17 EU research projects were hosted, with FLYSEC representation from the Project Coordinator, National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”. Dr. Dimitris M. Kyriazanos presented the FLYSEC overall security concept and the projects achievements, with emphasis on how the results can be used to improve biometric technology, especially during a time where several issues such as the introduction of GDPR and migration and border challenges have taken on increased importance.

With over 200 attendees throughout the Darmstad biometric week, the EAB-RPC provided a valuable, targeted platform for dissemination of the FLYSEC project results.
